About 33 International Film Festival

Established to celebrate the art of short filmmaking, the 33 International Film Festival (33IFF) is a quarterly competition culminating in an annual awards ceremony. The festival welcomes submissions across various genres and styles, providing a platform for emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their work to a global audience.

In addition to international recognition and IMDb qualification, annul winners will enjoy a range of valuable benefits, including cash bonuses, exclusive offline screenings, and custom-crafted annual trophies. Notably, the Best Directing comes with a special RMB 10,000 prize package sponsored by MOMA.

Submission Guidelines

Filmmakers are invited to submit their short films (under 33 minutes) for consideration in upcoming seasons. Submissions should include English subtitles and can be entered through our official channels. Seasonal winners will be eligible for annual awards and may receive opportunities for further recognition and distribution.
