Winners Announced
After an exceptionally competitive season, we are proud to unveil the winners of the 3rd 33 International Film Festival - Season 1.
This quarter showcased remarkable talent from around the world, with filmmakers pushing the boundaries of storytelling, craft, and artistic vision.
🔹The Power of Persuasion
Directed by Ernst Weber and Pasha Shapiro, the film emerged as one of the season's standout achievements, taking home Best Animation, Best Screenplay, and Best Film Editing. Its sound designer was also awarded the Saramonic Best Sound Award (Season 1).
🔸 When It's Dark
Director Jackie Leng received Best Director and Best Short Film, while cinematographer Xue Mingtao was honored with Best Cinematography.
🔸 Best Original Score
Michael Chien-Hung Lai was recognized for his moving and memorable score for Gentle Laundry.
🔹 Best Performance
In one of the season's most competitive categories, Colton Carlson was awarded Best Performance for his outstanding work in Aberth.
🔹Outstanding Official Selections
